Al Jazeera English’s ground breaking launch in 2006 reflected the shift in power away from the west by being the only international news provider headquartered in the Arab world. Years later, their innovative, impartial and transparent approach to world news needed to be supported and communicated with a new brand identity.
The news programme branding which I created was designed to deliver the broadest perspective, encompassing all aspects and all sides of the story. Using up-to-the minute ‘live’ content I designed a system which was driven by what is happening in the world, showing the news in its rawest form.
